Boise State University’s Community Impact Program (CIP) is an academic certificate program that provides students with the skills and knowledge they need to become effective leaders in their communities.  

Currently full for the Fall 2024

The CIP cohort is currently full for the fall 2024 semester. We have opened a waitlist for fall 2024. We are now accepting students for the fall 2025 semester.

Scholarship opportunity

CIP students are eligible to receive up to $5,500 scholarship.  Limited scholarships are available.  Contact us today to learn how you can secure this award!

CIP is for all students who:

  • Live in a CIP community 
  • Plan on attending Boise State University either part-time or full-time

CIP is open to all students, adults, new to college, transfer students, returning students, recent high school grads, online students, or campus-based students.
